🎃 Halloween 2024 at Cyherbia Botanical Park
Halloween 2024 at Cyherbia Botanical Park was a weekend full of mystery, fun, and adventure for the whole family! Visitors of all ages came dressed in their best spooky costumes to enjoy an action-packed program of games, quests, and shows spread across the maze, woodland, herb gardens, and stage.
Woodland Adventures 🌲👻
The enchanted woodland offered families a magical mix of games and quests:
- Classic Carnival Games – Guests tested their aim and skill with Nerf gun shooting, ring toss, cheeseboard ball challenges, and ladder ball.
- Apple Bobbing – A timeless Halloween favorite that had kids giggling and splashing as they tried to grab floating apples.
- Ghost Hunting Quest & Storytelling – Ghostbusters guided children through the woodland to bust spooky ghosts. Each ghost carried a riddle, leading kids to the storytelling area for a spooky tale.
- Live Action Role Play (LARP) – Children became part of the story, dressing up as knights, ghouls, or adventurers in a world of fantasy.
Magical Encounters ✨
- Herb Garden Quest – Young explorers searched for witches’ hats hidden among the herbs, solving clues along the way.
- The Tower Trickster – A medieval wizard delighted families with the classic “coin under the cups” trick. Children also explored feely boxes filled with mysterious objects and took photos with the wizard in front of a medieval backdrop.
- The Maze – Creepy characters like the Mud Man, pumpkin scarecrows, and witches lurked in corners, surprising brave visitors as they tried to find their way out.
Special Activities 🎭
The stage came alive with entertainment for all ages:
- Archery with Copper Mountain Archers – Guests had the chance to test their aim and learn archery skills from the experts.
- Magic Show for Children – A fun, interactive show full of laughter, surprises, and magical moments that kept the little ones enchanted.
- Swordfighting with the HEMA Club – A thrilling live demonstration of historical swordfighting techniques, bringing medieval combat to life in an exciting and educational way.
