Fairy House Workshop 2021 at Cyherbia Botanical Park

The last week of August 2021 was filled with magic and creativity at Cyherbia, as families gathered for our much-loved Fairy House Workshop.

Every summer, this special workshop gives children and parents the chance to do something truly different on the weekend—craft your very own fairy house using imagination and natural materials. Our team guides participants step by step, helping bring each unique creation to life. Once finished, your fairy house can brighten up your garden or add a touch of whimsy inside your home. Many families even start their very own fairy gardens after this workshop!

A New Addition in 2021

This year, we introduced something extra magical: the chance to paint ceramic fairy character ornaments. Children could choose from gnomes, unicorns, dragons, and fairies—then decorate them with vibrant paints to take home. Combined with the fairy house, these characters made every creation feel like a living miniature world.

All Materials Provided

From paintbrushes and acrylic paints to glue guns and decorative pieces, everything needed was ready and waiting. Families only had to bring their imagination!

A Treat for the Senses

While crafting, participants enjoyed refreshing herbal iced tea, our famous lavender lemonade, and healthy lunches from Botanicus Bistro. To top it off, freshly baked cakes and muffins were available every day—because creativity always pairs well with a sweet treat.
